Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he
is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand
generations of those who love him and keep his commands.
Deuteronomy 7:9Happy Wednesday! I hope that everyone is enjoying Summer and staying cool in this crazy heat. So sorry for procrastinating on writing this update, life kinda happened. Which speaking of...
Having faith in God to give me a job was tough, to say the least. I had in in my head (as I previously rambled on about in previous posts) that I was going to have a job before I graduated, and all would be honky-dory once the tassel went to the other side of my head. Walking across the stage and being "hooded" by my program director and some other important guy that I don't remember, all the while trying to smile and appear not freaking out was the least of my worries.
After many prayers and rants to my momma, God answered my prayers. I can't describe the feeling of gratitude and relief, it was (to say the least) overwhelming. I'm currently working with the little bitties, and I know this sounds completely silly, but I'm really excited to have an office! (Pictures to come soon). The best part of all of it, everything was free, comprised of hand-me-downs and things I previously purchased... or "borrowed" from my momma's home office. No need to reinvent the wheel when momma lets me have free rein on her post-its and copy paper.
God is always faithful, he will always take care of you in your time of need (even when your bank account has gone from feast to famine in a matter of months).
