Happy Friday to my lovely readers! I decided to revamp this blog, and add a little more something special. So, welcome to
Paper Heart & Tiara, inspired by some bible verses (you can read more about them
here):
- 1st Corinthians 9:24-25: The Imperishable Crown
- 1 Thess. 2:19-20 & Daniel 12:3: The Crown of Rejoicing
- James 1:2: The Crown of Life
- 2nd Timothy 4:8: The Crown of Righteousness
- 1st Peter 5:1-4: The Crown of Glory
It is very hard to believe that I am less than three months away from gaining my full certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. (For more information, read my
Speechie FAQ section.) It has been a beautifully chaotic mess, and I wouldn't change any of the journey. My grandpa used to tell me that there are many roads in life, and each choice you make will lead you down a different road - whether for better or worse. It's about taking chances and the only regret is having regrets. It's amazing how many roads I have meandered on, and for some, ran as fast as I could.
I've learned that life is about second chances, and extending the same to others as they have extended to me. For me, it was November second, and it was an opportunity to regain my dream again. I never will remember those two long days of wondering and praying for a miracle.
It was also a humbling text message. It was the simple "I'm sorry" that meant the most. I don't know what will happen, or what the future holds, but it's okay. That's where faith in God comes in.
For now, I shall trust Him, and that's all that matters.
