Beauty, part two

Hello!  I decided to be crazy and have two posts in one day.  This post is a continuation this one, as it applies to the make-up aspect.  So hold on to your kabuki brush, kids.

Truth:  I am not a makeup artist.  I am a "natural look" type of gal.  I really liked the liquid make up because I felt like it stayed on longer than powders, but the problem was that I felt like it was constantly seeping into my pores causing a massive breakout attack on my face.  I have tried the cheapo-deapo stuff all the way up to the "holy crap, it costs what?" brands.  In fact, I probably could admit that I don't even use half of the stuff I have either bought or have been given.  Just goes to show you how much time I really give myself in the morning.

The nitty gritty problem of all of this is that I always feel like I have a strong definition line of makeup vs. natural skin.  Some areas of my face seem to need more coverage than others, and so it always appears to be this inconsistent mess on my face.  And to make matters worse, my skin is very sensitive to products - compliments of a very traumatizing experience with my mom's go-to pressed makeup.

It took a lot of coaxing to get me into the Bare Minerals store, mainly because I was too embarrassed to say that I had no idea what to use and how to put on make up correctly.  The consultant was extremely nice and understood what I was going through.  After a very lengthy and easy-to-understand yet detailed explanation, I was very impressed at the fact that it didn't feel like I was wearing any makeup, or at least, hardly any at all.

What I really, really like about the product is that you can control the amount that comes out with a permanent, rotating lid that clicks over the holes.  I can't tell you how many times I have gotten annoyed because of wasted makeup all because it was sitting in between the container and lid.  There were optional/additional products I purchased (mainly because I needed a good mascara and lip gloss), but I won't get into them.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Lots of love,
   Kelsea

Update:  Here is a how-to video that I created due to request.  Please excuse the awful editing skills, as this was my first video and I didn't realize how much I ramble!
