Inspired: Proverbs 17:17

In honor of Summer (yeah, I know I'm a little late), I decided to "summerfy" my blog. Dang, I'm sounding cheesy.

Today marks the end of the fourth day that I have endured through my quest of digging deeper into the fruits of the spirit. It was God like was saying, "all right, let's make this interesting". My week has consisted of learning about love at another different level - a level I'm not sure I completely understand just yet, feeling completely pure joy on Tuesday, yearning for peace on Wednesday, and receiving gratitude from kindness today.

It has been two weeks since I have been home, but it feels so much longer. This week has been dragging on like a person with hypokinesis. I feel like tomorrow should be next Thursday... but either way, I am very excited to go see my family!

In honor of almost completing one month of grad school, here are some things I have learned:

1. Splitting the bill on food is so wonderful, but being able to eat it at your own pace makes it worth it. (Sorry, Jeremy, you know I love you, but your amazing food made me fat.)
2. Studio apartments equal less cleaning. I'm going to miss it when I transfer! BUT, I will appreciate the bigger closet (No room for hangers here, it's sad.)
3. There is one walmart, no target, and the only chain sit-down restaurant is Chili's. You know how much I love their soup, salad, and chips/salsa, but I can only endure so much.
4. NSU is the best decision I have made so far. I have learned more in one month than I did in taking Neural twice (which could technically be counted as two semesters).
5. Baking is a catch 22. It is a great stress reliever, but I can't eat it fast enough!
6. I know there's more, but they're boring.

7. I've already decided that I want to have "senior" pictures when I graduate from here. I didn't have them done when I graduated from OSU, so I need to fix this...

Dear God,
let me be a shining light to others,
let me show them that You are awesome
and nothing else compares.
Oh, and please help me do well on my midterm.
Amen.
