Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let
nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord,
because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:58Happy Sunday! I am so happy spring is finally here. With the exception of the excuse to wear cute scarves and boots, my love for winter is pretty limited. This week starts the last week of my internship at the hospital, and I'm going to boo-hoo just thinking about it. One of the not-so-fun things to think about is the age-old question: Now what are you going to do with your life? Yikes.
Not having a job offer (yet) and not knowing where I'm going to be once the tassel goes to the other side is quite a scary thought. I never thought this time would really come in my life where I am trying to scramble around, praying that someone takes a newly graduated me. A lot of places do not like to take CF's, mainly because that means they have to find someone to supervise me and sign off on anything that I can't sign off on. Just lovely, right?
Another factor that doesn't help is that I am a worrier. I worry about if my dog is okay at the house all the way up to I worry if someone is going to plow into me when I have to go past a certain stop sign in order to get onto the highway. It's silly, I know. I went to church last night (lifechurch.tv to be exact), and Craig did a wonderful sermon on a restless soul - which is just what I needed. I've decided to take the challenge and take five minutes out of your day to just meditate on God, be still and know that He is going to take care of you. Even the really important stuff (like a job for me), He'll take care of. There is nothing He cannot do.
Time for my five minute break from the world.
Much love,
Kelsea Lauren
